The 47th anniversary celebration of SUKELCO concluded with honoring and employees’ night last November 4, 2022 at MCO Center, SUKELCO Kalandagan, Tacurong City.
It was attended by the SUKELCO Board of Directors, Department Managers, outgoing directors, retirees and employees of the cooperative.
The event was graced by NEA Board of Administrator, Agustin L. Maddatu, NEA Deputy Administrator for Electric Cooperative Management and Services, Atty. Omar M. Mayo and Tacurong City Mayor, Joseph George L. Lechonsito, MD, DPA.
Oath taking of the newly elected Board of Directors namely: Mario O. Dumaguing of Lambayong, Joel D. Durana of Isulan, Vivencio E. Necesito, Jr. of Lebak and Abdulrazid L. Kamag of Maguindanao, was conducted. It was administered by NEA BOA, Mr. Madattu.
Retirees was also awarded for their dedication and hardwork in serving SUKELCO and being part of the cooperative’s mission and vision to delight customers and achieve the mandate of rural electrification.
Highlight of the event was awarding of service awardees to employees in recognition for the productive service and faithful dedication to SUKELCO for 10, 15, 20 and 25 years.
Lastly, SUKELCO Headquarters was hailed over-all champion for team events. 1st Runner-Up for Area 2, 2nd Runner-Up for Area 3, 3rd Runner-Up for Area 1 and 4th Runner-Up for Area 4.
The celebration with the theme, “Developing resiliency of employees and promoting customer satisfaction to better serve MCOs and sustain the mission of rural electrification” is a manifestation of the triumphs that electric cooperative has brought towards development and nation building and for continuously bringing light and hope to our dearest member-consumer-owners.
