Earlier this morning, Area-1 Services Department Manager, Wilfredo M. Evangelista, Ph.D., attended the Session of Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tacurong City and presented the salient features of RA 11361 otherwise known as The Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act, The New Life Line Rate Discount and the services of the Area Office.
Dr. Evangelista also presented DOE-DPWH JOINT CIRCULAR NO. 01, SERIES OF 2017entitled, “Prescribing the Uniform Guidelines and Procedures for the Proper Payment of Compensation and/or Recovery of Cost in the Event of the Need to Relocate the Electric Cooperative Distribution/Transmission Lines for the Primary Purpose of the Government”.
Hon. Vice Mayor Lina O. Montilla, along with the presence of SP Members of the city, expressed their appreciation especially to the services of the cooperative. They have also sponsored a City Ordinance supporting the implementation of RA 11361 to protect the integrity and reliability of our power system.
