SUKELCO officially kicked off the month with its July Flag Raising Ceremony, hosted by the Corporate Planning Department (CPD), on July 6, 2026, at the SUKELCO Headquarters in Kalandagan, Tacurong City. The ceremony highlighted the value of Integrity, emphasizing honesty, accountability and ethical leadership as essential principles in delivering quality service to its member-consumer-owners (MCOs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the institutional updates, management shared ongoing organizational alignment initiatives, announced the upcoming SUKELCO sa Barangay in the Municipality of Senator Ninoy Aquino, and reported the ongoing bidding for the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) and Barangay Line Enhancement Program (BLEP). Employees were also informed that the Board of Directors is set to adopt the new NEA Code of Behavior to further strengthen good governance and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Corporate Planning Department also introduced the Data-Based Pilferage Detection System, with pilot testing scheduled to begin next month to help improve system loss monitoring and revenue protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Technical Services Department highlighted its recent accomplishments, including assisting MAGELCO in energizing the Talbo Substation by providing a 5 MVA power transformer, supporting SOCOTECO II through Task Force Kapatid following the recent earthquake and the successful energization of the new 10 MVA Kalamansig Substation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Area Operations also presented updates on field activities and ongoing efforts to improve service reliability across SUKELCO’s franchise area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his message, OIC-General Manager Wilfredo M. Evangelista, PhD, thanked all employees for their dedication and hard work, acknowledging their contributions to SUKELCO’s exemplary performance in the National Electrification Administration’s evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monthly flag raising ceremony continues to serve as an opportunity to uphold the Cooperative’s core values, and align all employees toward SUKELCO’s commitment to providing reliable and responsive electric service to its MCOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
