The Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SUKELCO) actively participated in the NEA-EC Convergence and the 46th Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (PHILRECA) Annual General Membership Meeting (AGMM) held from August 7 to 9, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Bacolod City.
The event was attended by SUKELCO’s Board of Directors, headed by President Suraina M. Kalid, and its Management Team, led by OIC-General Manager Wilfredo M. Evangelista, along with representatives from 118 electric cooperatives across the country.
The gathering served as a vital platform for collaboration, policy discussion, and goal alignment among electric cooperatives, PHILRECA, and the National Electrification Administration (NEA)—all working together toward strengthening the rural electrification program.
SUKELCO’s participation reaffirms its strong support for initiatives promoting sustainable and inclusive rural development.
