Salamanca Proclaimed Winner in Tacurong City District Election
Oscar A. Salamanca, Jr. was proclaimed the winner in the recently concluded Tacurong City District Election held today, March 7, 2026, after securing the majority of votes against his opponent.
Based on the official tally, Oscar A. Salamanca, Jr. received 1,880 votes, while Bishop David E. Salazar garnered 1,165 votes.
The election was conducted across 20 voting centers covering 23 precincts, with an overall voter turnout of 12.52 percent.
Following the canvassing of votes, the District Election Committee (DECOM) formally proclaimed Salamanca as the duly elected District Director. The proclamation ceremony was attended by the members of the committee, namely Atty. Marlon H. Insular, Gildo G. Mosqueda, and Atty. Aishettea Ace Moleño, who oversaw the orderly conduct and validation of the election results.
With his proclamation, Salamanca is set to assume his post and serve its member-consumer-owners in the District of Tacurong.
