The Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SUKELCO) appeared before the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) via a virtual hearing for the approval of its Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Plan for the years 2024 to 2026.
The hearing, hosted by the Commission on April 6, 2026, was conducted at the SUKELCO Headquarters in Barangay Kalandagan, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.
The proceeding covered the determination of compliance with jurisdictional requirements, along with the expository presentation and pre-trial conference. It was conducted through the Microsoft Teams platform, pursuant to ERC Resolution No. 09, Series of 2020, and Resolution No. 01, Series of 2021, also known as the Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Serving as witnesses for the application were Engr. Joemar G. Sevillano, PEE, Technical Services Department Manager, who presented the technical aspects, and Dr. Wilfredo M. Evangelista, OIC- General Manager, who discussed the financial components of the CAPEX Plan.
Also present were Hearing Officer Antonio Dominic G. Salvador and SUKELCO Legal Counsel, Atty. Ditas Lerios-Amboy.
The CAPEX Plan outlines SUKELCO’s proposed infrastructure and system development projects aimed at improving service reliability, operational efficiency and power distribution within its franchise area.
