SUKELCO Media Arm for Rural Electrification Towards well-informed MCOs (SMART) started this year with a strategic alignment meeting, target setting and thanksgiving. This was conducted early this afternoon, February 5, 2021 at Maddatu Hall, SUKELCO Headquarters, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.
Officers and honorary members who are radio practitioners and information officers of different LGUs in Sultan Kudarat attended the meeting. It was conducted purposely to discuss the basic co-op policies regarding collection, disconnection and reconnection; present future plans and activities of SUKELCO for 2021; ask their commitment and present their targets; and recognize their existence for the significant contributions they have done to the electric cooperative.
Dir. David L. Batayola, President of SUKELCO Board of Directors, conveyed his message of gratitude to the attendees for being active partners in SUKELCO’s Information and Education Campaign.
SMART played an important role in delivering factual information about the dynamics of our operation. They serve as co-op’s ally to easily disseminate information as far as services are concerned including collection, power interruption, CSR activities and others. They also serve as mouthpiece in promoting SUKELCO in the gains of rural electrification.
Simple tokens were also given as gesture of appreciation because of SMART’s commitment being SUKELCO’s active media partner.
