In celebration of its 50th Founding Anniversary, SUKELCO officially launched “Golden Moves”, a vibrant sports and wellness program for employees, through an Opening Ceremony held on September 12, 2025, at the SUKELCO Headquarters, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.
The event commenced with an inspiring Opening Message delivered by Francisco L. Torres, Jr., MBA, Institutional Services Department Manager, who emphasized unity, sportsmanship, and the spirit of celebration.
The Presentation of Delegates followed, showcasing the competitive spirit of the participating teams: Area 1 – Red Bulls, Area 2 – Green Dragons, Area 3 – Blue Sharks, Area 4 – White Lions, and HQ – Yellow Tigers.
Director Ali Armie L. Mamalo of the Bagumbayan and Senator Ninoy Aquino District gave a message encouraging all players to enjoy the game, have fun, and show unity and friendship throughout the event.
The event became more exciting with a team parade, banner raising, and the Oath of Sportsmanship led by Engr. Joemar G. Sevillano, Technical Services Department Manager.
This was followed by the ceremonial Torch Lighting and Declaration of Events, spearheaded by Wilfredo M. Evangelista, Ph.D., SUKELCO’s OIC General Manager, officially marking the commencement of the much-anticipated games.
Adding a fun to the program is the high-energy Zumba session, celebrating wellness and team spirit.
SUKELCO’s Golden Moves is more than a sports event, it reflects the organization’s strong commitment to employee involvement, health, and unity as it celebrates 50 years of service to the people of Sultan Kudarat and Maguindanao Del Sur.
