In line with its commitment to community engagement and educational support, SUKELCO opened its doors to Accounting students from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU)- Tacurong Campus for an educational company visit earlier today, October 14, 2025, held at the MCO Center, SUKELCO Headquarters in Kalandagan, Tacurong City.
The program began with an opening message from Mr. Francisco L. Torres, Jr., MBA, Institutional Services Department Manager, who highlighted the important role of electric cooperatives in local development and the value of exposing students to real-world industry practices.
Students were given a series of informative presentations covering History of Rural Electrification, Organizational Structure of SUKELCO, Overview of SUKELCO Services and Accounting and Audit Processes.
After the presentations, students joined a guided tour of the SUKELCO facilities, offering them a closer look at the cooperative’s operations and systems in action.
The visit served as a meaningful learning experience, helping bridge the gap between classroom theory and industry practice. SUKELCO continues to support future professionals through educational partnerships and initiatives that promote learning beyond the four walls of the classroom.
