In pursuit to giving quality and efficient electricity service to our dearest member-consumer-owners, the Board of Directors and Management of SUKELCO conducted a two-day joint strategic alignment meeting and benchmarking activity.
The joint meeting was held to present and address operational concerns to review and come up with an action plan on the NEA management audit findings covering 2018 to March 30, 2024 operations.
Along with it, a benchmarking activity in King Energy Inc., a generating company, was also done to undertake on the proposed construction of Mini Hydro Power Plant in Lebak and 5 Mega Watt Solar Power Plant in President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat.
This initiative is in adherence to the mandate of the national government for the use of Renewable Energy as part of the Electric Cooperatives’ RE portfolio standards under RA 9513 also known as “Renewable Energy Act of 2008” to ensure energy security and lessen power cost which will benefit our member-consumer-owners (MCOs).
This joint endeavor initiated by the SUKELCO Board and Management is a positive collaboration of working together as one family; bridging the gap, find alternatives and create new solutions to concerns that need utmost attention. Hence, building a healthy environment that fosters trust, communication and innovation.
