The Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SUKELCO) recently held a Year-End Assessment, Planning and Thanksgiving event to express gratitude to its media partners and block timers for their continued support throughout the year last December 13, 2024 at MCO Center, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.
The event attended by SMART (SUKELCO Media Arm for Rural Electrification Towards Well-Informed MCOs) from different radio stations in Sultan Kudarat namely: Radyo Natin, Max FM Tacurong and Koronadal, Talakudong Media Company and Rescuer News Publishing as well as Radyo Kidlat Blocktimers and Media Team, was an opportunity to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and strengthen collaborative ties with the media.
The event also provided a chance to discuss challenges faced by the cooperative including Franchise Renewal and the cause of Interruptions experienced by the locality and how media partners played a pivotal role in conveying vital information to the public.
“We are grateful for the unwavering support of our media partners, who have been instrumental in spreading awareness of our programs and initiatives,” said SUKELO OIC-General Manager, Mr. Edgar M. Gatmaitan, PEE in his yuletide message.
The gathering also served as a platform for acknowledging the contributions of media partners that went above and beyond in promoting SUKELCO’s campaigns, events, and public service announcements. Recognition and tokens were given to honor them for their dedication to ensuring that important information reaches the community.
SUKELCO’s media partners expressed their appreciation for the recognition and pledged continued collaboration in the coming year.
As SUKELCO looks ahead to 2025, the cooperative remains committed to working closely with its media partners to further enhance communication efforts and improve services for its MCOs.
