Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SUKELCO) recently held a Joint Pole Agreement and Task Force Meeting with its employees on March 27, 2025 aiming to strengthen coordination, improve service delivery, and align ongoing infrastructure projects.
The meeting presented by Atty. Arriane Joy Y. Insular, OIC-Legal Services Division Supervisor, focused on the implementation of joint pole agreements with various telecommunications companies and other cable partners, streamlining the use of electric poles for shared infrastructure. This initiative is part of SUKELCO’s efforts to enhance operational efficiency and safety while promoting cooperation among stakeholders.
During the task force session, updates were provided on ongoing projects, challenges faced in the field, and strategies to address issues related to pole management and maintenance operations.
The management headed by OIC-GM Wilfredo M. Evangelista, PhD, emphasized the importance of unity and teamwork in achieving the cooperative’s goals, highlighting that the joint efforts of technical teams, engineers, and field personnel are vital in ensuring reliable and sustainable electric service across the franchise area of SUKELCO.
The meeting concluded with action points set for the coming months, including follow-up assessments and collaborative monitoring with partner Telecommunication companies and Lessees.
