The Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SUKELCO) held a successful symposium on work value and ethics attended by management and employees from different area offices held earlier today, April 4, 2025 at MCO Center, SUKELCO Headquarters, Kalandagan, Tacurong City.
The said symposium aimed to promote a deeper understanding of ethical standards in the workplace, foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, and accountability among employees, and reinforce the core values that guide the organization’s service to the member consumer owners.
In his opening message, Board of Director from Maguindanao District, Mr. Abdularazid Kamag, emphasized the importance of work ethics in maintaining public trust and delivering efficient service to member-consumers.
“As employees, we need to compose ourselves, recalibrate our resources and business strategies and align our values and work ethics towards the achievement of our organizational goals” said OIC-General Manager, Wilfredo M. Evangelista, PhD represented by Internal Audit Manager, Emily Grace P. Macailing, CPA.
Melissa Marie Velayo G. Bautista, EdD, a seasoned resource speaker, featured lectures and interactive discussions focused on strengthening ethical practices in the workplace. She emphasized that as a service-oriented organization, it is vital to embody transparency, honesty, and dedication. She also encouraged employees to be proactive in fostering a culture of mutual respect and accountability.
Employees expressed their appreciation for the initiative, noting that the symposium was not only informative but also inspiring.
