A total of 110 Officers and Members of Barangay Power Association from Esperanza, Bagumbayan and Isulan attended a congress today, April 11, 2025 held at Narra Park Conference Area, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
The said congress was conducted to intensify Information Education Campaign regarding the Area Operation, legal laws and the advocacies of rural electrification program.
OIC-General Manager, Wilfredo M. Evangelista, PhD acknowledged the significant contribution of BAPA Operation towards SUKELCO’s drive to improve its collection efficiency along with the Board of Directors from Isulan and Bagumbayan and Senator Ninoy Aquino namely Directors Joel D. Durana and Ali Armie L. Mamalo who also showed their commitment to be service to MCOs once their presence is needed.
Institutional and Area Department Managers, Francisco L. Torres, Jr. and Engr. Leo O. Fontanilla highlighted the challenges faced by the electric cooperative and how the BAPA Officers become an avenue to collaborate with SUKELCO and achieve its mission and vision.
The conduct of BAPA Congress is part of SUKELCO’s commitment to educate, empower and engage its member consumer owners as vanguard for sustainable rural development.
