In preparation for the upcoming national and local elections, the Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SUKELCO) convened a contingency planning meeting to ensure continuous and stable power supply during the election period earlier today, April 10, 2025.
The meeting was attended by Supervisors, Technical and Area Managers and Election Committee Members to discuss the preparation for local and national elections in reference to NEA Technical Advisory No. 8, series of 2025.
OIC-General Manager Wilfredo M. Evangelista, PhD stressed the importance of preparedness and challenged the committee members to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted power before, during and after the election day and must coordinate strategies and align response measures in case of power-related emergencies.
SUKELCO reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the electoral process and ensuring that MCOs under its coverage area will be informed throughout the elections.
