In compliance to NEA Memo No. 05-2025 and in accordance to our office safety policy, SUKELCO conducted a fire and earthquake drill at its main office, Headquarters, Kalandagan, Tacurong City on Monday, June 23, 2025, aiming to raise awareness and equip employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively during emergencies.
The activity organized by Institutional Services Department in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) namely: FO1 Philip Jones Esquerdo, Chief Community Relations Unit, FO1 Vincent James Canaway, Building Plan Evaluator and
FO1 Ma. Jolyn Babatid, CRU Staff, presented, safety briefings, simulation exercises and hands-on demonstrations.
BFP officials lauded SUKELCO’s initiative, noting that routine drills not only promote a culture of safety but also enhance coordination among responders and institutions during actual emergencies.
With this initiative, SUKELCO’s continually commits to ensuring the safety of employees and promoting disaster readiness in times of natural disasters.
