December 6, 2024 – SUKELCO employees gathered at the MCO Center, SUKELCO Headquarters in Kalandagan, Tacurong City, today for a special Employees’ Symposium and Year-End Mass.
The event was organized to celebrate the year-end mass and to empower employees on their rights under Republic Act (RA) No. 11313, also known as Safe Spaces Act or Bawal Bastos Law.
The program began with a solemn Holy Mass, followed by the Employees’ Symposium. SUKELCO’s Corporate Planning Department Manager, Janet S. Collado delivered an opening message while Ms. Nancy Bawe, the City Social Welfare Development Officer, provided the rationale of the symposium. Atty. Ronaisa L. Camendan, Prosecution Attorney from the Office of the City Prosecutor of Tacurong City, served as the resource speaker. Her presentation focused on employee rights, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful work environment in compliance with the Safe Spaces Act.
The event concluded with a closing message from Atty. Glenn Lamery, the FSD manager of SUKELCO.
